I am particularly motivated for applying to this opportunity with 2 reasons. The first reason is that I believe that my strengths make an appropriate candidate for the job position in the investment bank department. My strengths are familiarity with numbers and staying power. I had practiced calculation with abacus for eight years when I was a child. Our teacher was very strict, therefore I had to concentrate on practice and had to produce good result. I got high calculation skill and perseverance as a result or more than 30 hours practices per week in this situation. Since in my image, the daily works in the investment bank department need a lot of basic efforts to succeed deals, I think these strengths make my advantages to work there. I noticed this when I joined an internship program in an investment bank this summer. The second reason is that I expect to get opportunities to work with great persons. The members in our laboratory are intelligent and have attractive personalities. Although I am sometimes discouraged with my poor skill in the lab, I thank to this environment because these experiences encourage me to make more efforts to improve my skill. In my future job, I expect to work in such a great team. I feel I can work in a great team I expect when I read your website. If I can get a job position in investment bank department, I believe I can get opportunities to improve myself greatly.

私が最近興味を持ったのは、創薬ベンチャー企業の上場廃止基準が緩和される可能性があるというニュースです。薬品の研究に時間がかかることから、開発研究が利益に繋がる前に上場廃止となってしまうリスクを緩和することが目的だそうです。理系の研究環境に関係する点で興味を持ちました。私自身、研究に取り組む中で結果を出す難しさを感じているため、長期的な資金を得られることで開発成功の可能性が上がることは大きな利点だと考えています。一方でリスクを抱えた上場創薬ベンチャーが増える可能性があり、その点が貴社のM&Aアドバイザリー業務に関連すると思います。規制が多い製薬業界で、独自領域の強みを持った創薬ベンチャーの買収は魅力的だという話を聞いたことがあります。緩和により上場社数が増えることで、魅力的に見える研究内容のリスクを正しく理解し、買収先の選定や価格決定に反映する重要さが増してくるのではないかと考えました。
